Salesforce Managed Services
Stop asking one person to be
senior at everything.
Your org gets a team of specialists instead of one generalist stretched thin: administration, development, solution architecture, and a named Account Lead who owns the relationship. For operations, RevOps, and IT leaders running a Salesforce org of 100 to 1,000 users with one stretched admin, a resignation on the desk, or nobody owning it at all. Delivery is 100% US-based. The retainer is scoped to what your org actually needs, so it can cost less than the one or two people you would otherwise have to hire.
- Administrator
- Developer
- Solution Architect
- Account Lead
- Project Manager
- …
Standing still has a price. It just doesn’t show up on an invoice.
One of these is probably true of your org today.
One admin to do everything
Requests queue for weeks. Reports get built twice because nobody documented the first one.
Roadmap work never starts, and the admin is one competing offer away from taking the whole org’s
history with them.
The admin just resigned
Two weeks of notice against a
four-month hiring cycle. Integrations break with no one to trace them. Sales leadership
starts keeping the real numbers in a spreadsheet, and that habit outlives the vacancy.
Nobody has owned it in a year
Duplicate accounts, dead validation rules, permissions granted for a project that ended in
2023. You are paying for licenses
nobody logs into, and forecast
accuracy is now an opinion.
THE MATH, WITHOUT PRICES
Then there’s the cost of building it yourself.
The team is the reason to do this. The arithmetic is the reason it’s easy. At 100 to 1,000 users, one administrator at market average isn’t a real option, so price what you would actually have to hire to cover the same ground.
Local World places full-time Salesforce professionals and runs retainers. We get paid either way, which is why we’ll show you the arithmetic straight.
LEVEL ONE · MINIMUM VIABLE HIRE
One senior Salesforce Administrator
~$178,000
/year all-in
$136,974 average base for a Senior Salesforce
Administrator, fully loaded at roughly 1.3 times once benefits, payroll taxes, and overhead are counted.
Still not covered
Development capacity, solution architecture, and coverage when that person is out or leaves. You are one person deep on the system your whole revenue org runs on.
LEVEL TWO · REALISTIC BUILD-OUT
Senior Administrator plus Developer
~$406,000
/year all-in
$136,974 administrator base plus about $175,000 for a mid to senior Salesforce Developer, the midpoint of a $160,000 to $190,000 market range. Combined base about $312,000, fully loaded at roughly 1.3 times.
Still not covered
Solution architecture. That is a third seat, and published US bands at senior technical levels run past $180,000. Most mid-market orgs can’t justify the headcount, which is why architecture is the capability they go without.
| Internal build-out | Local World managed services | |
|---|---|---|
Annual Cost | About $178,000 for one senior admin; about $406,000 for admin plus developer, fully loaded | One fixed retainer, scoped to your org
and held for the contract term |
Roles covered | One or two seats | Administrator, Developer, Solution
Architect, Account Lead |
Architecture | Usually unfunded | Included |
Coverage when someone is out | Gap | Continuous |
If someone resigns | Months of vacancy plus replacement cost | No gap |
Time to start | Multiple sequential searches | Weeks |
Cost predictability | Salary, benefits, taxes, raises, and turnover cost, each moving on its own | One fixed retainer for the contract
term, scoped up front |
Local World can quote either model, a retainer or a direct placement, and we’ll tell you which
one your volume actually justifies. We make money either way, so there’s no reason to sell you the wrong one.
YOUR POD
Four skill sets on your account. Not one generalist stretched across all of them.
Configuration, development, and architecture are three different disciplines. Your org needs all three,
at different volumes, in different weeks. Each seat has defined scope, and one person owns the
relationship. You know exactly what the account is staffed to cover before you sign anything.
SEAT 01
Salesforce Administrator
Day-to-day configuration, user support, permissions, and the backlog that used to sit still.
SEAT 02
Developer
Apex, flows, and integration troubleshooting. Ships what declarative tools can’t, and leaves it documented.
SEAT 03
Solution Architect
Owns data model and scale decisions. Says no to the shortcut that costs you a rebuild later.
SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT
Account Lead
Knows your org, not just your
contract. Triages every request, runs your cadence, answers the phone.
THE EXIT RAMP
Most managed services contracts are built to make leaving hard.
Ours is built to end.
Every competitor in this category is a consultancy, so their growth depends on your
dependency. Local World has spent 13 years recruiting and placing Salesforce
professionals. The retainer isn’t a trap. It’s a stage.

We run your org on retainer while you scale
The pod carries administration,
enhancements, and release work from
day one. No hiring cycle in front of it.

When your volume justifies a full-time hire, we recruit that person
Same recruiting practice that has placed
400+ consultants. We already know what
your org needs in that seat, because
we’ve been running it.

We hand over documented, working systems to the admin we placed
Runbooks, data model notes, and open
roadmap items go to your person.
Onboarding runs an order of magnitude
faster than starting cold.
Fill rate, against a 25% industry average
Proof we can actually find your admin, not
just promise to try.
Consultant attrition across all placements

retainer is standing on.
Our business model does not depend
on you never hiring anyone.
SEVEN CAPABILITIES
What’s included
Scope is set in the agreement. This is the ground it covers, and every line of it is work a single admin would be doing alone.

Response and resolution targets are set per engagement, against your business hours and risk tolerance, and written into the agreement. A number published on a website was written for search traffic, not for your org.
Administration & user support
Users, profiles, permission sets, and the questions that arrive first thing on a Monday.
Enhancements & automation
Flows, validation, and approvals, built to be
maintained by someone who isn’t us.
Release management
Sandbox testing, deployment discipline, and a
rollback plan you never need to read.
Integration support & advisory
We monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain your
existing ERP , marketing, billing, and support
connections, and advise on new ones. Building a
new integration is scoped as its own project.
Reporting & dashboards
Numbers leadership will actually run the pipeline meeting from.
Data hygiene
Deduplication, ownership rules, field governance, and enrichment that holds.
Roadmap planning
A quarterly plan with owners and sequence,
reviewed with your leadership.
What you’re actually thinking
“I lose control of my org.”
You keep system administrator
access and change approval. Your
named Account Lead brings you
every change before it ships. We
work in your org, on your terms, not
from behind a portal.
“You’ll learn our org and then I’ m trapped.”
Documentation is a deliverable on
a schedule, and it’s yours.
Offboarding handover is defined in
the agreement, not negotiated
on the way out. Then there’s
the exit ramp: we’ll recruit your
admin ourselves.
“Who actually touches my data?”
Named US-based individuals,
background checked. You get their
names at kickoff and an access list
you can audit. No pool of unnamed
contractors, no offshore night shift.
PROOF
A migration another partner broke, and what it took to fix it
BEFORE
A manufacturer’s previous partner moved records between
two Salesforce orgs and left duplicates, broken account
hierarchies, and lost activity history behind. Sales stopped
trusting the data. Two quarters of pipeline reporting were
unusable, and the partner had already invoiced.
AFTER
Our architect rebuilt the mapping, recovered activity history
from the source org, and reran the migration in stages with
reconciliation at each step. Duplicate accounts dropped
from roughly 18% of records to under 1%. Reporting was
trusted again within six weeks, and the org has been on
retainer since.
“Our admin resigned with two weeks’ notice. Local World had a pod on the org before he left, and the handover actually happened. Nine months later they recruited his replacement for us and briefed her themselves.”
Dana Whitfield
VP Revenue Operations, industrial distribution, 340 users
“I’ve worked with three managed services firms. This is the first one where I know who is touching my org and can call them. The release review before every Salesforce update alone has paid for itself.”
Marcus Reyna
Director of IT, consumer products, 620 users

Questions we get asked first
How is pricing structured?
A monthly retainer, scoped after the org review to the size of your org and the shape of the work, rather than sold as a tier off a page. The retainer is fixed for the contract term. It does not go down in a quiet month, and it does not go up in a heavy one. If your needs change materially, we rescope at renewal. Retainers are quoted alongside a placement option if you want to compare both.
How are SLAs set?
Per engagement. Response and resolution targets are written against your business hours, your peak periods, and what a given system going quiet actually costs you, then put in the agreement. We don’t publish a generic number because a generic number isn’t a commitment to you.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, and there should be. It takes a few months for a pod to learn your org and for you to see whether we’re earning the retainer. That initial term is long enough to prove it and short enough that you’re not stuck if we don’t. After that it rolls with a short notice period. We won’t push you into a multi-year contract, unless you ask us for one.
Who will be working on our org?
Administrator, developer, solution architect, and a named Account Lead as your single point of contact. These are career Salesforce practitioners, certified across the clouds they work in, with years on orgs in manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, life sciences, and technology. That range matters: whatever your org is doing, someone on the account has seen it before and knows which approaches age badly. The specific individuals are named at kickoff and they stay on the account.
Do you work alongside an existing internal admin?
Often, and it’s a good setup. Your admin keeps the relationships and the day-to-day judgment calls; the pod covers development, architecture, release work, and the overflow. We also cover the seat when they’re on vacation or out.
